After much thought and consideration, Kerryann decided it was time for her to start living her dreams, and a career in Real Estate was one of them.
It has been the one field that has always been an interest of hers. She has followed the trends for many years, owning a few investment properties including rentals. So, she decided it was time to start doing it for her and start working the career she has always wanted. A Realtor, and she is loving every minute of it.
What made you want to join Lamacchia Realty?
I had plans to join another Broker while I was preparing to start the journey of becoming a licensed Realtor, but a friend who recently joined insisted on me talking to Jackie.
While sitting in the first training class, of course leaning towards joining Lamacchia Realty, my friend who was at the other brokerage sent me a text telling me she was sitting behind me. It was at that point that I knew Lamacchia Realty was the place for me and this was my new forever home.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
When I’m not busy working on one of the many business that my husband and I manage, we enjoy riding in his 2011 Ultra Classic across our beautiful country to see the many beautiful sights in our own backyard.
One day soon we will be riding across Alaska’s roads in the summer and riding across Ireland.
Do you have a favorite charity?
Although there are many charities close to my heart such as Moose Heart (orphanage) and Moose Haven (housing for the elderly), giving back to my community is important to me and I try to do it as much as I possibly can.
We have spent the month of October doing work with a Haunted Woods food drive (raising over 10,000 pounds of can goods and such), adoption of needy families at the holidays and working with the Loyal Order of the Moose on many fundraising events.
The one charity that is closest to my heart and I regularly give and support is called, The Younique Foundation. This foundation is amazing! It is a safe haven retreat for women to go to that have been victims of sexual assault. The women are able to go to this retreat to start the healing process at no cost to them and are provided with tools to be able to live a happy, normal life.
What is your favorite thing about your job?
As helping others is very important to me, I am excited about the idea and ability to help so many people – whether it be in the purchase of their first home, downsizing or getting ready to retire to another state.
Do you have any pets?
We used to have a terrier named Taco, but we lost him a few years back, and just don’t have time for a pet right now to give them the time and attention that is needed.
